Terms

The agreement between you and the operator of IMAP2AI. Plain terms, and short, because a long one nobody reads protects nobody.

Who you are contracting with

What the service does

IMAP2AI connects a mailbox you already own to Claude over the Model Context Protocol, using the IMAP and SMTP access your provider gives you. Claude can list folders, search, read messages, save drafts, move messages between folders and set flags. It has no tool that deletes mail.

Sending is off when you connect a mailbox and stays off until you turn it on yourself. While it is off, Claude writes into your Drafts folder and a person sends. If you turn it on, messages can be sent from your mailbox without a further confirmation, and that is your decision and your responsibility.

Your account and your mailbox

  • You must own the mailbox you connect, or have permission from whoever does.
  • A connector URL is a credential for that one mailbox. Anyone holding it can use it. Treat it like a password, and revoke it in the dashboard if it is exposed.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account, including anything Claude does with a connector you enabled.
  • Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk mail, to break the law, or to access a mailbox you are not entitled to.

Plans, prices and payment

The Free plan needs no payment. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, and you can cancel at any time from the billing portal, with access continuing to the end of the period you have paid for.

Prices shown are the whole price. No VAT is added, because the operator is not registered for VAT: DDV ni obračunan na podlagi 1. odstavka 94. člena ZDDV-1 (not liable for VAT). If that ever changes, prices will be restated before it takes effect.

Each plan includes a number of mailboxes and a daily limit on requests, enforced by the server and reset at midnight UTC. Reaching the limit stops further calls until the following day; it does not affect your mail.

If you are a consumer in the EU you have fourteen days to withdraw from a new subscription. If you ask for the service to start immediately, that period ends once it has, and we will not pretend otherwise; contact us and we will deal with a genuine case fairly.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, with no uptime guarantee. It depends on your mail provider, on Anthropic and on our hosting, any of which can be unavailable. Maintenance and changes happen without notice, though anything that removes a capability you rely on will be announced by email first.

Your mail stays yours

Nothing you connect becomes ours. Your mail is not sold, not mined and not used to train any model. What Claude reads goes to Anthropic under your agreement with them — see the privacy page for the full list of who processes what.

Limits of liability

Claude is a language model and can be wrong. Do not rely on a draft, a summary or a search result without reading it. The operator is not liable for mail that is misfiled, missed, unanswered or wrongly answered, for anything sent while you had sending enabled, or for a decision taken on the basis of something Claude produced.

Liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection rules, which apply to you in full whatever this section says.

Ending it

You can delete a mailbox or your whole account at any time in the dashboard; that removes its settings, its stored credentials and its connector URLs. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm someone, or that is not paid for, and will say why.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them and account holders are told by email before a material change takes effect. Slovenian law applies, and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, the mandatory law of the country you live in still protects you and you may bring a claim there.
